Dr. Rob Madry

Since Dr. Madry’s father was a cardiologist, he grew up seeing how being in the medical field could have a profound, positive impact on the lives of others. When it came time to choose his profession, he shadowed several dentists and knew he had found his calling. He’s been a dedicated dentist in Corpus Christi for over 20 years now, and he’s just as passionate as he was that first day!

As for his studies, Dr. Madry attended Texas A&M University before earning his dental doctorate at Baylor College of Dentistry. Next, he pursued a General Practice Residency at the Olin E. Teague VA Center in Temple as well as certificates in laser dentistry and Invisalign! To this day, he prioritizes continuing education with professional organizations like the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association so he can continue to provide his patients with the absolute best care.

Dr. Madry and his wife, Dana, have two children, and they are both currently attending Texas A&M – just like their dad! When he isn’t spending time with them, he enjoys pursuing hobbies like playing tennis, fishing, and hunting.

Dr Madry and his staff has my vote for the best Dental team I have ever experienced in Texas! He has been our family dentist for over 15 years! Even tho I moved to Dallas, I could not find a dentist comparable to Dr Madry and his team! So we make special trips back to Corpus for our appointments!

What is the best way to find a cosmetic dentist?

There isn’t a single designation that makes a dentist a “cosmetic dentist.” However, numerous organizations offer advanced training in cosmetic dentistry . It is best to look for a dentist who has extensive involvement in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and/or other organizations that offer advanced training in cosmetic procedures. Dr. Madry has earned certifications in laser dentistry, Invisalign, and designing/milling restoration in-office. He is also a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has taken countless courses focused on restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

What do you do if you can't afford a dentist?

Dentistry is all about prevention. It is much more affordable to work with your dentist to prevent serious dental issues before they arrive. Dental insurance is an excellent tool to use to your advantage if you have access to it through your employment or by another means. Insurance plans usually cover preventive care and part of necessary restorative procedures and treatments. If you don’t have dental insurance, we are happy to accept payments through CareCredit – a third-party financing company that can split the cost of your treatment into manageable monthly installments with little to no interest. To learn more about your financial options, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our friendly team members.

How much does a dental check-up & cleaning cost near South Side Corpus Christi?

The cost of dental cleanings and checkups can vary on geography and other factors, like your dental health. Checkups and cleanings should always begin with going over your health history and discussing any concerns that you have. It should also include a thorough exam by your dentist, a professional cleaning, X-rays, and an oral cancer screening. The average cost in markets throughout the United States is between $200 and $350. If you have dental insurance, the cost of a cleaning and checkup is likely covered in your plan.

How do I get emergency dental care?

If you have a life-threatening emergency, you should call 911. For other dental emergencies , you should give us a call so you can let a member of our team know what’s going on. Most hospital emergency rooms are not equipped to handle dental emergencies, so seeing an emergency dentist is almost always the better option. We will always do our best to see you as soon as possible. Dental emergencies are often indications of “bigger” dental issues, so you should get back on track with regular cleanings and checkups if you aren’t already. By attending these regular visits, you may be able to prevent future emergencies. Ultimately, you could save a lot of time, money, and discomfort in the long run.
