How Often Should I See the Dentist?

At minimum, you should visit Dr. Madry for two checkups and cleanings each year, which means having one appointment every six months. However, you may need to schedule more frequent visits if you have a condition like gum disease that requires repeated treatments.

What Should I Do If I Have a Dental Emergency?

Call the emergency room if the problem is life-threatening. Otherwise, make an appointment at our dental office right away for oral pain relief and any necessary repairs to the teeth and gums. We have the training, technology, and services to help you overcome a wide variety of dental emergencies while helping you stay comfortable.

Should I Be Worried About Bleeding Gums?

Bleeding gums are a telltale sign of gum disease. It might not seem like a major problem at first, but you should have your gums treated before the infection gets any worse. We can remove the bacteria causing gum disease with a deep cleaning procedure, and we can treat your infected tissue with a gentle, precise dental laser.

How Can I Improve My Smile?

Veneers and cosmetic bonding can be used to hide all kinds of dental flaws, and a professional teeth whitening can get rid of stains in order to bring back the brightness of your smile. We’ll listen closely to what kind of changes you want to make to your smile and recommend the appropriate form of treatment.

Do I Need to Replace My Missing Teeth?

Yes, no matter which teeth were loss, you should always have them replaced as soon as possible. When left alone, gaps in your smile can put you at risk for gum disease, cause other teeth to drift out of place, and make it more difficult to eat and speak properly. We can offer dentures, bridges, and dental implants as possible solutions for missing teeth.

I’m Scared of the Dentist, How Can You Help Me?

We offer both nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation to help calm your dental anxieties. Nitrous oxide is a good option for patients who are only slightly anxious, as it allows them to return to their daily routine immediately afterwards. Oral conscious sedation is recommended for stronger anxieties as well as longer procedures. We’ll help you choose whichever option is most comfortable for you.

Do You Take My Insurance?

We are in-network with Aetna and Humana. We also accept a number of other insurance carriers, so either give us a call or use our insurance checker to see if we take your plan.
