Although minor dental damage like a chipped tooth may not seem like a big deal, over time, cosmetic flaws can wear on your confidence and self-esteem. In some cases, it can even lead to choosing to stay home instead of going out with friends and hiding your smile instead of letting it show because you feel self-conscious. Our team at Rob Madry, DDS has helped hundreds of patients rebuild their smiles affected by dental damage using a cost-effective and efficient treatment, called cosmetic bonding in Corpus Christi.

Why Choose Rob Madry, DDS for Cosmetic Bonding?

  • Repair Your Smile Within a Single Appointment
  • High-Quality, Natural-Looking Dental Materials
  • We Accept Emergency Patients

What is Cosmetic Bonding?

a tube of composite resin

If we notice that one of your teeth is chipped, discolored, or unevenly spaced, we can restore or improve its appearance with cosmetic bonding. Using a biocompatible, putty-like material called composite resin (the same material used to fill cavities), Dr. Madry will sculpt the missing portion of the tooth. To harden the putty, he’ll shine UV light on it—this will also help the resin fuse with the tooth enamel. The shade of resin that we use will be color-matched to your natural enamel, allowing it to seamlessly blend in with your existing dental structure. Finally, Dr. Madry will texturize and sculpt the resin to make it look virtually indistinguishable from the rest of your teeth.

In many cases, this treatment can be completed within a single appointment. However, if you have more extensive damage that you want to address, it may take multiple visits to our office, or we may recommend a treatment better suited for your situation, like veneers.
